Sales pages don't have to be ugly

Let’s have a chat about your website, shall we? Ever wondered if it’s talking to your visitors in the right way? Well, that’s exactly what we’re digging into today with “5 Questions Your Website Should Answer.” Imagine your website as a friendly guide, answering questions even before they’re asked. In this blog post, we’re unraveling the magic behind these five simple yet profound questions.

Q1: What do you do?

So they land on your website…The next logical thing they want to know is what the heck you do.

Clearly explain your services or products. This could be your brand statement in the form of a headline.

It could go something like this…

“WORDS THAT SELL FOR YOU.”

“Transforming Coaches & Creatives with Strategic Website & Sales Copy that Drives Conversions.”

Q2: How do you do it differently and why are you the best person for the job?

Now they know what you do, they’re probably wondering why they should hire or buy from you.

Give them your secret sauce.

How/what you do differently and why you’re better than your competitors.

This is your unique selling point or (USP). Include this in your About page and Services page.

Q3: Why have past clients picked you?

Success tells the real story. Can anyone vouch for how awesome you’re saying you are?

Building trust will help you become the best choice so include real testimonials or reviews.

Buyer psychology tells us that people are naturally skeptical of investing/buying something new. They want to know if others found success with your product or services. Sprinkle your testimonials throughout your whole site.

Q4: Will your products or services actually work for them?

Now the real questions are on the table.

Can you…

Solve their problem(s)?

Meet their expectations?

Make things easier?

If they’re gonna hire/buy from you they need to feel confident in your abilities and benefits. The goal is to meet them where they are. Great copy that clearly outlines the answer to those questions should be included on your portfolio and services page.

A tip here is to go through your website and see if you cover a potential client/customer’s concerns, ideas, and desires. Including FAQs is good but don’t rely on a FAQs section to do all the heavy lifting for you here.

Q5: What’s the next step?

They spent a ton of time browsing your site. Finally, they are ready to say “YES” to you! So now what?

Get them to contact you or hit the “buy now” button.

Your site should repeatedly encourage them to take action.

Include easy straight to the point calls to action (CTAs)

“Are you ready to (do that thing that your service or product solves)?”

Button Text: “I’m Ready” “Sign Me Up” “Book My Call”
